Albacutya Bridge Open to Traffic Published on 23 May 2022 Hindmarsh Shire Council’s Chief Executive Officer, Greg Wood, and North Ward Councillor, Cr Ron Ismay, were on site at the newly constructed Albacutya Bridge today as barriers were removed opening the bridge to traffic.The Albacutya Bridge was permanently closed in October 2021 due to deterioration and was demolished not long after to allow for the new dual lane bridge to be constructed.
